About Us

Established in 2004 when Arthur Balls and Rob New formed the firm. Breydons hold a category one franchise from the Legal Services Commission and the Law Society Lexcel standard for excellence. We are one of a few firms to have successfully passed two Peer Review audits where independent professionals assess the quality of the work that we provide to our clients.

From our offices in Great Yarmouth and Norwich, Breydons Solicitors provide free Police Station assistance throughout Norfolk and Suffolk 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Breydons specialist advocates appear in all Norfolk and North Suffolk Courts and regularly represent cases heard at Crown Court throughout the region. Qualified Prison Law representatives also attend and regularly represent clients at establishments throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. Where appropriate, Breydons representatives will also travel further afield.

Breydons solicitors undertake a range of other work including: -

  1. Prosecution on behalf of public bodies including the DWP and Environment Agency
  2. Private client fixed fee representation on motoring and other matters

Different clients will always have different needs, however, there are some things which will be common to us all:-

  1. To know that you are being represented properly professionally and well
  2. To be kept informed and have explained what is happening in your case
  3. To have a point of contact and support that you can rely upon should the need arise
  4. To know the cost of your representation and be kept appraised of it throughout your case

Client care is at the forefront of the Breydons practice. Communication between client and advisor is at the forefront of client care. This contact is the touchstone of the practice and central to the service that Breydons provides.

Breydons Solicitors were awarded the Lexcel quality mark in June 2011 and are dedicated to maintaining that standard.

Breydons are included in Chambers and Partners as a leading practice within the region and are described as ‘a boutique firm, who has established itself as a sound choice for criminal work’.
